Department of Rajasthani
Introduction: The Department of Rajasthani being run under SFS scheme was founded in the academic session 2018-19 keeping with an objective to connect the students with Rajasthani culture, dialects, language and literature. The Department offers 40 seats in Post Graduation Program. The Department imparts the knowledge of Rajasthani script, Language, Science, Rajasthani Folk Literature, Culture and Saint Literature, besides the Department also includes in its curriculum the milestones of Rajasthani Literature such as Vachika Literature and love stories.
Vision: Work towards creating a scholarship and through it a society based on humanistic models projecting Indian values and cultural heritage to the outside world.
Mission: To promote activities related to promotion of Rajasthani Dialect, Rajasthani Culture and tradition amongst the new generation, keeping an objective to develop a feeling of respect towards the folk art and literature composed by the Rajasthani Litterateurs.

v In session 2022-23 Jagdish Narayan Ojha won Silver Medal in Inter College Cricket Tournament held at Dungargarh
v In session 2022-23 Ranjeet Upadhyay won Gold medal at All India Taekwondo Tournament held at Chandigarh
v One day International Webinar on “National Education Policy and Mother Tongue Promotion” was organized on 20 Feburary, 2021 in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner.
v The Department organized a National level Rajasthani Poetry Competition on 31 January, 2020. The number of the participating institutes, colleges and Universities, had been very encouraging.
